Just like real pieces of furniture, when it comes to choose a plant we try to satisfy certain requirements before we welcome it into our home: we assess its size, the shape of its leaves, the shade of green we like.
For example, to fill any empty corner the tendency is to choose voluminous plants with large leaves, for a highly decorative effect.
The Monstera Deliciosa with its highly ornamental leaves is proof. Choosing a vase similar to a pedestal helps to elevate it as if it were an actual green sculpture, like the cache-pot Clou with its double bottom.
